Je crois qu'il n'a pas compris que tu parlais d'utiliser ça comme routeur BGP pour l'infra de Grifon ;) (« you as an ISP want to use Omnia as an router for end users ») On Thu, Oct 29, 2015 at 04:05:39PM +0100, loconox wrote:

Hello,
we believe that the router will be ready for the market around the half of the 2016. Crowd funding is one of the ways we are thinking about.

Hi Martin,
I’m very glad to learn that we can have a hand on your router and give you feedbacks. Did you plan to sell the routeur to public ? If so, when ? I also heard about a crowd founding ?

Hello Jérémie,
I'm really happy to see your interest in Turris Omnia. We see France as one of the most important market for us, so it's pleasant to see that you as na ISP want to use Omnia as an router for end users. Hopefully we will have the second prototype of Turris Omnia in a few weeks and if there will be no major HW issue I can lend one router to you for tests.
Best Regards,
Martin Strbacka Head of Project Turris

Hi,
I’m Jérémie Libeau. I’m leaving in France. I heard about your project recently and I’m interesting with your router for several reasons that I'm exposing.
I’m currently involved into 2 associations that plan to create local ISPs. The first one is Grifon (grifon.fr <http://grifon.fr/>), they are located at Rennes (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/54517 <https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/54517>). They are providing VPN access and housing, and planned to provide ADSL (maybe fiber). Their AS is 204092 http://bgp.he.net/AS204092 <http://bgp.he.net/AS204092> The second association, which I’m the founder, is Arcane. It’s not fully created but should be by the end of the year (no website). It will also be a local ISP located at Caulnes (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/367220 <https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/367220>) and planned to provide ADSL and Wifi connection (to cover dark zones).
My interest in your router is to test it’s usability for grifon as main or spare router. And maybe, in the further use it in the Arcane infra when it will be setup. I’m also interesting to test it for my personal use as a home router. In France there is also a project of a little box that allows to create a transparent VPN tunnel over commercial ISP, based on YUNOHost (http://internetcu.be/ <http://internetcu.be/>). I wanted to test how this router could be used for this same type of use.
I have already sent a pre-order request. I’m ready to pay something to support this project or simply to pay for the hardware if needed. Thanks in advance. — Jérémie
